Canada - King George V (1927-1936)
Single stamps, covers and multiples issued by Canada Post during the later half of the reign of King George V, from 1927 to 1936. This period saw the production of many of Canada's most beautiful stamps, and the introduction of the long pictorial definitive set. These sets used the King's portrait for the low values, and then used a scene from a different region of Canada for the high values. There are ways to specialize in this period by paying attention to differences in paper, perforation and gum, that the standard catalogues like Unitrade completely ignore.
