A very fine NH upper right field stock sheet margin block of 24 of the 8c Alaska Highway stamp from the 1967-1973 Centennial issue, showing the plastic flow variety on all right hand stamps in the block. The paper is DF and the gum is smooth dex.

As with all plastic flows, the strength of the second impression varies:

• average strength on positions 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25.
• stronger than average on positions 30, 35 and 40.
