Canada #232a (SG#358a) 2c Bright Brown King George VI Mufti Booklet Pane of 4 + 2 Labels Minor Re-Entry VF-75 NH
A very fine NH booklet pane of 4 plus 2 labels of the 2c bright brown King George VI stamp from the 1937-1942 Mufti Issue, showing an unreported re-entry affecting the framelines of the two right stamps in the pane. Printed on vertical wove paper with no visible mesh, and with smooth deep cream gum that has a satin sheen. Line perf. 12.0. The staple holes in the selvage tab at left suggest that it comes from a booklet with a 17 mm staple. The re-entry consists of doubling of the upper left frame on the top right stamp, most all of the left frame, and a portion of the upper right frame on the bottom stamp. This is the first re-entry I have seen on this issue, through Trimble does note a few others. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH pane at $37.50. The pane offered here grades VF-75 NH as follows:
Paper freshness: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
Pane edges and corners: 10/10
