Canada #195d (SG#319) 1c Deep Dull Green 1932-35 Medallion Issue Yellowish Cream Gum Flat Plate Printing SUP-98 NH
A nearly perfectly centered and superb mint NH single of the 1c myrtle green King George V bas-relief flat plate stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and yellowish cream gum with a glossy sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime in 1933. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $12.00. However, examples that are this well centered are very elusive, and consequently our price reflects the scarcity of the stamp in such a superlative grade. The stamp offered here grades SUP-98 NH as follows:
Paper freshness: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
