A well centered and pristine MNH left hand complete sheet of 100 of the die 1 6c black Transportation stamp from the 1967-1973 Centennial issue printed on the scarce hibrite 12 paper. It should be noted that there are 4 levels of hibrite on the Irwin-freeman scale, and this is the brightest, as 12 points. Unitrade does not mention this, but the paper is very clearly vertically ribbed, just as many of the other values printed by BABN are.

The centering is far superior to what is usually seen with these sheets, where several rows or columns are off centre. Half of the stamps, being column 1-2 and 8-10 are VF-80 centered and the remainder from columns 3-7 are VF-84.

In addition, several of the stamps show the re-entered frameline at right, in which there is visible doubling of the right frameline when examined under a 10x loupe. The affected stamps include positions 1/3, 2/1, 2/5, 2/6, 3/1 and 3/5 to 3/10, 4/1, 5/1, 6/1, 7/1, 7/2, 8/1, 9/1, and 9/5.

Finally, some stamps show the ink drag flaw from the C of Canada, in which there is a line from the C that joins to the A. These appear on stamps 5/5 through 5/7; 4/5 through 4/10; 6/5 through 6/10; 7/5 through 7/7; 8/5 and 8/6; 9/5 through 9/7, 10/2 and 10/8.

Neither of these two varieties are listed in either Harris or Unitrade. Unitrade cat as 4 corner blocks and 84 singles is $2,040.

The sheet is unfolded and pristine. A showpiece for the Centennial specialist.
