An extremely fine example of the 5c slate green 1965 International Co-operatioon Year Issue First Day Cover, with a block of 4. Black Rose Craft cachet depicting the International Co-operation Year Emblems. The envelope is on hibrite paper stock, while the stamp is printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamp is tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa wavy line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-91 as follows:

Intactness of the cover: 25/25

Paper freshness from the front: 20/25

Paper freshness from the back: 8/10

Condition of the paper and edges: 15/15

Appearance of the handwriting: 5/5 (unaddressed)

Clarity of the postal markings: 15/15

Condition of the stamps: 3/5

Unitrade lists a Rosecraft or Artcraft cachet for a single stamp, on dull paper, on cover for $2. Unitrade does not list multiples on FDC, but $3 is a more reasonable value for this. Note: the above scan is a stock photo as are all my scans for material after 1952. The cover you will receive has been carefully checked to adhere to the above grading standards, so while it (they) may not be exactly the same, it (they) will be of the same quality.
