Lot 184 Sweden SC#668a (Facit #HA15B2R)/668a (Facit #HA15E1O) 1966 Re-Engraved King Gustav VI Adolf Definitive Issue, Different Cream Covers, Upright And Inverted Panes, 4 VFNH Booklets of 6 (2 +2 +2), Estimated Value $18

4 VFNH booklets of 6 (2 +2 +2) from the 1966 Re-Engraved King Gustav VI Adolf Definitive Issue. Different cream covers, upright and inverted panes. The Scott and Facit numbers range from 668a (Facit #HA15B2R) to 668a (Facit #HA15E1O), and include 668a (Facit #HA15B2R, E2O & E1O). The booklet covers show 2 and 4 lines of text on the front, are different on the backs, are cream coloured, and show a dot pattern on two of the booklets (Postcalendern covers with Zip code), with the third having a rough surface on the cover stock. The dot pattern on the covers are little divots that run the length of the cover. I've seen these exact same divots on examples of the integral Centennial Issue booklets of Canada, most notably BK69, but others as well. All of the booklets show a bisected registration marking on the tab. One booklet, with the Djurpark back cover (split spine), has an upright pane. The second and third booklets, that have the Frimarkshuset back cover with the zip code, both have inverted panes. One booklet has a split spine cover and the other has a rouletted spine with 5 roulettes . 2014 Facit Cat Kr. 138. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $18.
