Lot 194 Sweden SC#669b (Facit #HA12ARV/HA12B1RV) 1964 Re-Engraved King Gustav VI Adolf Definitive Issue, Different Back Cover Designs, Upright & Inverted Panes, 10 Ore Stamps At left and Right, 6 VFNH Booklets of 4 (2 +2), Estimated Value $22

6 VFNH booklets of 4 (2 +2) from the 1964 Re-Engraved King Gustav VI Adolf Definitive Issue. Different back cover designs, upright & inverted panes, 10 ore stamps at left and right. The Scott and Facit numbers range from 669b (Facit #HA12ARV) to 669b (Facit #HA12B1RV), and include 669b (Facit #HA12ARV, B1RV). The booklet covers show 2 and 4 lines of text on the front, are different on the backs, are cream coloured, and have a rough surface texture, or smooth surface with a dot pattern. The dot pattern on the covers are little divots that run the length of the cover. I've seen these exact same divots on examples of the integral Centennial Issue booklets of Canada, most notably BK69, but others as well. Two of the booklets have the Postbanken cover design on the back, two have the Djurpark design on back and two have the Frimarkshuset design on the back. One of the Postbanken booklets (rough cover stock) has an inverted pane with the 10 ore stamps at left (right when viewed normally). The other Postbanken booklet (rough cover stock) has an upright pane with the 10 ore stamps on the left. One Djurpark booklet (rough cover stock) has an upright pane with the 10 ore stamps on the right. The second Djurpark booklet (rough cover stock) has an inverted pane with the 10ore stamps on the right (left when viewed nirmally). One Postbanken booklet (dot patterned stock) has an upright pane with the 10 ore stamps on the right, while the last Postbanken booklet is the same, but has the 10 ore stamps on the left. 2014 Facit Cat Kr. 170. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $22.
