5 VFNH plate 1 & 2 inscription pairs of the 10c deep violet brown Drying Skins from the 1950-1955 Natural Resources Definitives. Horizontal ribbed paper, yellowish cream & cream gums, different shades. Two plate 1 pairs are on horizontal ribbed paper and have smooth yellowish cream gum, with the two only differing slightly in shade. One plate 1 pair, printed in a pale shade, is on lightly horizontally ribbed paper, and has cream gum. One plate 2 pair is on horizontal ribbed paper, with cream gum. The second plate 2 pair is as the first, but the gum is streaky. A couple have gum disturbances in the selvedge, but the stamps are all NH.
