8 VFNH singles of the 10c deep violet brown Drying Skins from the 1950-1955 Natural Resources Definitives. Horizontal ribbed paper, various gum types. The two official overprints differ only in terms of the gum: one has slightly streaky, yellowish cream semi-gloss gum, while the other is streaky cream semi-gloss. The regular issue stamps all differ by shade and gum. Three examples have semi-gloss cream gum, and all show different shades of purple brown. One example has streaky yellowish cream gum, another has yellowish cream gum and the last stamp has seep yellow gum.
