A fine registered cover from Alberton, PEI to Charlottetown on July 8th 1887, franked with a 3c orange red Small Queen stamp from the Montreal printing and a 2c orange registered stamp paying the registered mail rate. The backstamp shows it arrived in Charlottetown on July 8th. The cancellations on the front are a little heavy, some of the date stamps are obscured and some rips are present along the left hand side of the cover. Unitrade values this cover at $55.
