Lot 272 Sweden SC#824a (Facit #HA18B) 15 Ore, 30 Ore & 55 Ore Various Colours 1969 Tjorn Bridges Issue, Perforated Cover Spine, NF-fl & NF Covers, 3 and 2 Digits of Control Number Visible, 3 VFNH Booklets Of 6 (2x3), Estimated Value $39

3 VFNH Booklets Of 6 (2x3) of the 15 ore, 30 ore & 55 ore various colours from the 1969 Tjorn Bridges Issue. Perforated cover spine, NF-fl & NF covers, 3 and 2 digits of control number visible. The cover fluorescence of this issue appears to vary from non-fluorescent (NF) to non-fluorescent flecked, to dull fluorescent (DF) to low fluorescent (LF) and finally low fluorescent flecked (LF-fl). There may be higher grades that exist, but all the booklets that I have examined fall within this range. The covers exist with spines that are cut part way through, and others which are rouletted. The tagging of panes is usually strong yellow, but can also be found with uneven tagging, or tagging that is solid in most of the pane, but stops short of the full pane edge, becoming much weaker where it terminates. The booklet exists with both 6 x 3.5mm and 8 x 2mm counting marks. According to Facit 2.34 million booklets were issued, divided between the two different cover types. Generally, fewer than 5-10% of the booklets will contain markings in the tab. The NF cover booklets are those with the partial control numbers in the tab. 2014 Facit Cat Kr. 300. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $39.
